TranscriptPlus (“we”, “us”) operates transcriptplus.com. This page explains what data we handle and why.
When you use the audio or video transcription tools, the file or link is processed to produce a transcript. We do not store uploaded audio or the resulting transcript on our servers. Audio files are sent to a third-party speech recognition provider only for the time needed to produce the result.
We use the visitor’s IP address to enforce daily usage limits and prevent abuse. IP addresses are processed in server memory for rate limiting and are not used to build user profiles.
We use Vercel Web Analytics to count page views and understand which pages are useful. It does not use cookies and does not store personal information. We see aggregate data such as page, referrer, country and device type.
The core tools do not require cookies. If advertising is enabled in the future, third-party advertising partners such as Google AdSense may set cookies or use device identifiers to show and measure ads. Where required by law, we will ask for consent before setting advertising cookies.
These providers process data under their own privacy policies.
You can use the tools without creating an account. Do not upload confidential recordings unless you are comfortable sending them to a third-party transcription processor. You may contact us to ask questions about this policy.
The service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy as the service changes. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
